A funky little touch controlled noise organ circuit I designed.
Extremely simple circuit.
Essentially it's just an LM386 amp feeding back into itself, via your body, a diode, (or not) and a pot which does..
well definitely something.
The gain is just set to maximum, (cap from #1 to #8) because nothing else made enough difference to really matter as far as I could tell. You'll have to zoom in on the image to see all the little details.

The diode colours the available sound, and I've found that a specific type of sinterglass diode provides the most desired flavour to my own ears. YRMV. Different diodes, or even sides of transistors, give different options of flavor, hence the added touch points in this version. Further experimentation in this regard is warranted.

terminal #6 is simply a connection to ground. No need to add a dedicated touch point; mounting the output jack to a metal plate provides a suitable contact surface for manipulating the signal.
